The (young) Michalski's

We are the 'Young' Michalski's. There are others, I just figured we could claim the 'Young' title . We are a happy little family, with our three kids and my high-school sweetheart as my husband.

What to do ...what to do...

Summer Fun
My Boys ~ w/teeth

Alright, so I've done some recent reading of my neighbor blog sites and have found that there are two types; 'What I'm up to' and 'What I'm thinking'. So the question is; am I a 'fufu' blogger or shall I open the 'vault' into my pearls of wisdom and ponderments? Well, Trisha and I were talking and....we sure like the ones with pictures. Hehehee. So I guess I'll continue being a 'fufu' writer and once in awhile I sneak in a 'pearl' for your life’s learning.

So tell me; Who is sick of the cleaning the same @#$# every day? I always get this way in the lull between Christmas and Spring. I start looking at different houses and wanting a change. Rachel has done this twice now in the past, is it five or six years. She has moved and renovated when I've been looking for the change she has gotten it. (I think without really looking for it!) Of course I'm thrilled and excited for her, and at times I'm glad it's her and not me. But I still find myself a bit antsy. At least these past few days it has been really nice and sunny, that sure helps. The problem too is that after Christmas you are trying to be extra good when it comes to 'Retail Therapy'. Reminding yourself that you really don't need it, but it would be so much fun. Last night I even dreamt that I was shopping!! I found some really great stuff! One thing was a really great dress that made me comment that I'd have to make sure to plan another Christmas party just to make sure I could wear that dress. That's ...pretty sad. Well I must run and work on my ‘edumakatium’. (My Interior Design course by correspondence.)

Here I am!

O.k. you saw the last post...yes a bit sad, for all you blog crazy people even more so. We are now in the 2007, I have only 2 months and a week or so to wrap my head around my next B-Day and the age that it will bring me to. It's o.k. Rachel, I really am doing fine with it, but it does take some mind effort. So we had our big Christmas party, and had just about 150 people. It was very fun, and it looked pretty much like I had invisioned. People have been talking about next year's ...this started the day after. It felt a bit like after you have a baby, the day after the thought of another, it's still a bit daunting, even thought you know you'll probably do it again. It was fun. I've worked quite a bit at the University over the past two months. It works out quite well for me and my family, working random days. Money is always good to get. OH Yeah! I went to Winnipeg with Chloe two days after the big Christmas party. We suprised her Great Grandparents who had never met her! That was a really special trip. They were thrilled, and she is at a great age(a sheer joy) to visit and travel with. She melted their hearts. The boys have been busy working on their 'look'. In the past month they have lost (I think) 5 or 6 teeth!! I figure that we should have a costume party so they can go as two of the 'Hansen' hockey brothers. Maybe, Zachery could be the third brother. And just before the kids had to go back to school I took them across the water to visit some of their favorite buddies, some more Richmond's. We had a great visit, it was a great way to end their Christmas holiday. Anyways, there we go. xoxo Have a couple adventures between now and my next posting! Let me know what they are. (I'm having some photo upload problems at this time but stay tuned for some pictures!!)
